Elizabeth Berent, MPH, CYT, RYT, CPR certified, has been studying health, wellness and yogic practices for more than 15 years. She holds a Master of Public Health and is a 350 Hour Certified Raja Yoga Teacher. She is certified in Restorative Yoga and has attended multiple hours of training for Yoga Therapy. Elizabeth has taught health education and disease prevention around the world with Public Health Departments in Vietnam, Mexico, Sweden, Barbados and Chicago. She is further trained and experienced in developing and implementing Health Behavior Change programs for both adults and children. Her areas of expertise include yoga practices for Diabetes, Cancer, Reproductive Health, Joint Disorders, Fibromyalgia, Neurological Conditions, Children & Adolescents, and Mental Health. Elizabeth is currently under the apprenticeship of an internationally renowned healer, furthering her expertise in pranayama practices and learning the Breath of Love Modality. Her workshops on the Breath and Restorative Yoga are not to be missed. During the summer months, Elizabeth teaches Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga. She works privately with clients that choose to go deeper into their practice, heal and those wanting to achieve specific and unique goal. She additionally teaches pilates and barre for strength training.
Tammy Ranallo, CYT, is former co-owner of the Yoga Room and a 250 Hour Certified Raja Yoga Teacher. She excels in developing personalized power yoga routines targeting specific physical goals for weight loss and strengthening. Tammy's areas of expertise include yoga practices for athletes, yoga with weights, and yoga aerobics.
Renee Hofman, CYT, previously taught a regular Wednesday evening class. She received her training from Yoga Fit. She specializes in combining various yoga systems into one unforgettable class.
Ashley Horn, CYT, She received her training from Power Core Yoga in 2013. Ashley substitutes for various classes at The Yoga Room.
Debby Bailey Smith, CYT, is certified in both yoga and pilates. She teaches various classes throughout the Fox Valley Region.
Rebecca LaGesse, CYT, is trained in the Hymalayan system. She specializes in restorative yoga practices focusing on reducing stress in the mind and body.
